Responsibilities
This role will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of capital projects and fixed asset management-from project initiation and capitalization through depreciation, disposals, retirements and payments
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 360 - Property, Plant & Equipment) and company accounting policies
Should be detail-oriented, self-starter looking for a meaningful opportunity to manage, organize, and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines and cross-functionally providing on-time deliverables for the Finance team
Act as the subject matter expert on the utilization of the Oracle fixed asset system/subledger.
Prepare and review monthly close activities including depreciation, impairment analysis, reconciliations, and rollforwards
Support preparation of quarterly/annual financial statements, including footnote disclosures
Maintain strong SOX-compliant controls around fixed asset processes, including reconciliations, approvals, and system security
Collaborate cross-functionally with Tax, Treasury, Operations, FP&A, and External Reporting to ensure accurate treatment of capital expenditure
Manage and develop staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
