FISINT Analyst Position Summary

Seeking a FISINT Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to support intelligence analysis, collection, processing, and reporting activities involving foreign instrumentation signals. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing technical intelligence data, identifying and characterizing signals, and producing clear, actionable intelligence products for government customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and characterize foreign instrumentation signals and associated technical data.

• Conduct research and analysis to identify signal characteristics, systems, platforms, and potential capabilities.

• Process, correlate, and evaluate data from multiple intelligence and technical sources.

• Identify trends, anomalies, and changes in foreign systems or activities.

• Develop and maintain analytical assessments, databases, and technical documentation.

• Produce intelligence reports, briefings, and other products for government and mission stakeholders.

• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, collection personnel, and other intelligence disciplines.

• Apply established analytical methodologies and intelligence tradecraft to assess technical data.

• Support mission planning, collection requirements, and intelligence production activities.

• Maintain awareness of relevant foreign systems, technologies, and developments.

 

Qualifications Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant FISINT or technical intelligence analysis experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, or another closely related technical field.

• Experience analyzing technical signals, instrumentation data, or related intelligence information.

• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to synthesize complex technical information into concise written and verbal products.

• Experience working in a classified intelligence environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FISINT collection, processing, exploitation, or analysis.

• Familiarity with SIGINT, MASINT, ELINT, or related intelligence disciplines.

• Experience with signal characterization and technical data analysis.

• Knowledge of foreign military systems, weapons systems, aerospace systems, or test and evaluation activities.

• Experience using intelligence databases, analytical tools, or visualization platforms.

• Experience supporting IC, DoD, or military customers.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, intelligence studies, or a related technical field.

 

Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
