Fire Captain to lead emergency response operations, protect our people, and ensure our facility runs safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do: Lead and train an elite fire response team
Oversee fire prevention, suppression, and safety protocols
Conduct drills, inspections, and emergency preparedness exercises
Respond to and manage on-site emergencies
Work closely with safety teams to maintain top-tier compliance

Essential Job Functions:- Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures
- Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all Standard Operating Procedures for emergencies
- Complete incident reports as required
- Responds to all fire/medical/security/hazmat/threat situations according to Emergency Response Plan and Standard Operating Procedures and Medical Director Protocols
- Performs routine daily/weekly/monthly inspections on fire alarm/fire suppression/and security equipment
- Physically inspect all fire suppression systems, including but not limited to:
- Sprinkler System
- Manual and Automatic Alarm initiating devices
- Fire Panels
- Standpipe Hoses
- Perform daily inspections on apparatus, fire vehicles, and emergency response equipment
- Patrol facilities for fire or building code violations and additional safety hazards; report to supervisor
- Approve and inspect all hot works and high-hazard hot works and confined space permits
- Participate in daily training on emergency response to maintain readiness
- Maintain compliance with personal Fire/Medical/Hazmat certifications as required by local mandate
- Demonstrates experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a high-pressure environment
- Other duties to be determined by direct report and/or management
Requirements:- Minimum of 10 years of paid fire service experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Certified Firefighter 1 and 2
- NIMS 100, 200, 300, 700, 800
- EMR or higher certification (EMT/Paramedic)
- Current driver's license
- Pass an NFPA 1582 physical examination and drug test
Preferred:- EMT certification
- Fire Officer II certification or equivalent
- Experience as a Lieutenant or comparable
- Fire Instructor I
- Apparatus operator
