Full Job Description
What You Will Do
We are seeking a motivated Fire Service Supervisor to lead a team of field service technicians delivering timely, high-quality service to our customers. You will drive service revenue growth, develop and mentor team members, and partner closely with internal teams to deliver strong customer outcomes and maintain a culture of safety.

How You Will Do It
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of field service technicians, including goal setting, regular 1:1s, performance reviews, training, and mentorship
  • Plan, prioritize, and dispatch service calls to support on-time arrival and first-time fix; partner with service coordinators and schedulers to optimize routing and workload
  • Build strong customer relationships to drive satisfaction and identify service growth opportunities
  • Promote a strong safety culture through safety training, job hazard analysis, incident investigation, and compliance with policies
  • Monitor and report key service metrics such as response time, first-time fix rate, backlog, and on-time completion; implement continuous improvement actions
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of service documentation, work orders, and reporting; validate parts usage and warranty alignment
  • Manage resources to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support service profitability; assist with quoting and pricing where needed
  • Collaborate with sales, installation, engineering, and operations teams to resolve escalations and deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of technicians to build a strong talent pipeline
  • Maintain compliance with company, regulatory, and environmental standards
  • Travel to customer sites across the Louisville, Kentucky area to support service delivery, safety coaching, and audits

What We Look For
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in field service, maintenance, or a related industry, or demonstrated leadership experience within a technical environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Excellent communication, coaching, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Proficiency with scheduling systems, data reporting, and basic analytics tools
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel locally

Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred
  • Technical degree, certifications, or relevant college coursework
  • NICET, Kentucky certifications, or other industry credentials

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in field environments including customer sites, plants, and service locations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and squatting

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $76,100-104,600k (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
