As an Design Supervisor (Fire Alarm), you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

- Supervise the Project Design team, including supervision and oversight of design and engineering work for a variety of installed solutions and projects.
- Proactively communicate with colleagues, vendors, consultants and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
- Identifies cost effective solutions that meet customer requirements within the project schedule.
- Accountable for the communication of design progress, committed completion dates, design scope revisions, and associated costs to the Project Managers.
- Discusses all anticipated overtime requirements with the Project Managers.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
What You'll Need- Excellent Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Requirements:Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
Licenses / Certifications: current Texas Fire Alarm License (NICET III / APS or higher)
Minimum Experience: 5-7 years Fire Alarm Design, CAD Design, field service or project management
Preferred Experience: (but not required):
- Previous supervisory experience in Fire Alarm design or project management
