Full Job Description
Leads the strategy, governance, and optimization of the organization’s financial systems and technology platforms, ensuring alignment with operational needs, accounting standards, and long-term objectives.

Partnering across Finance, IT, and key business functions, this role drives system performance, automation, data integrity, and internal controls, while serving as the primary liaison between Finance and IT for implementation and continuous improvement.


 

Essential Functions:

  • Define and execute the financial systems strategy, including technology roadmap, governance, and alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financial systems performance, enhancements, integrations, and data integrity to support accurate reporting and efficient operations.
  • Ensure systems support strong internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), organizational policies, and healthcare regulatory standards.
  • Lead system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements, including planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and user adoption.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Finance and IT; translate business needs into system solutions that support financial close, reporting, budgeting, and decision-making.
  • Lead and develop the financial systems team, establishing standards for support, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, required.
  • Master’s Degree or Master of Business Administration, preferred.

Certifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting processes, and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with major ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, and NetSuite).
  • Strong project management skills, including experience leading complex system implementations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing teams and leading organizational change initiatives.
  • Expertise in financial data architecture, business intelligence (BI) tools, and automation technologies.

Experience:

6 years of experience in financial systems, ERP management, or financial technology roles.
