The Financial Systems Analyst will support, enhance, and optimize Oracle EPM Planning, EPCM, and Strategic Modeling applications. This role serves as a key liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and continuous improvement of financial planning tools. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial acumen, technical proficiency, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day administration of Oracle EPM planning, EPCM, and strategic modeling applications
  • Validate data loads to ensure accuracy and reconciliation between systems
  • Manage application configuration, including metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, forms, business rules, and workflows
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with IT partners
  • Partner with Actuarial, FP&A, and Capital Planning teams to support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-term strategic planning
  • Translate financial and business requirements into user-friendly system enhancements and reporting solutions
  • Partner with IT to support system upgrades, patches, and testing of new developments as needed
  • Support financial reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis within EPM and related reporting tools
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, system administration, or supporting Oracle EPM or similar planning tools
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across Finance, IT, and business teams

Preferred:
  • Experience with Oracle EPM modules
  • Familiarity with Smart View or data integration tools
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Workday, or other ERP systems
  • Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes

Independence has implemented a "Hybrid" model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the "Hybrid" model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania
