This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.
We are seeking a Financial Specialist II who combines exceptional attention to detail with growth-minded curiosity to scale the Corporate Travel and Expense team at Blue Origin. You will support Blue Origin by partnering with corporate card and expense vendors to ensure Blue Origin employees are able to safely, efficiently, and compliantly travel to required work locations and procure the necessary commodities and equipment to help build the road to space.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Maintain Corporate Card programs, including issuance, update, cancellation, and user support for all corporate cards used by Blue Origin and our subsidiaries.
- Audit expense activity related to regulation, policy requirements, and corporate guidance.
- Maintain all relevant policy documentation, supporting content and information platforms.
- Prepare key metric reporting across category spend, fraud leakage, policy compliance, and overall expense audit system effectiveness.
- Support cross-functional initiatives involving accounting, tax, supply chain, payroll, and other stakeholder groups.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business administration (finance/accounting/analytics)
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Accounting, Procurement, or Travel & Expense audit
- Proficient in technology, including Excel, Word, and business intelligence interfaces
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to operate in a high-control environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working with international and cross-currency corporate credit card programs
- Ability to earn trust and maintain positive, professional relationships with key stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to exercise high-level judgment when evaluating policy compliance
- Strong communication skills, with discernment to tailor messaging to the audience when conveying sensitive expense and compliance matters
- Hands-on experience building AI-assisted or automated workflows
Base Pay Range for:
WA applicants is $78,749.00 - $110,247.90
