JOB DESCRIPTION

Join the Central Planning & Analysis Team within Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) for an exciting opportunity and a high visibility role to work with data, deliver financial insights and partner with senior leaders.

As a Vice President within the Central Planning & Analysis team, you will play a key role in delivering client and financial analytics that support senior management decision-making across the CIB. You will work across Finance, Business, and Data teams to develop consistent, scalable analytics and reporting. You will be utilizing strong analytical skills to work with large datasets and translate data into clear business insights. Over time, you will help enhance how analytics are structured and delivered across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver client and financial analytics to support senior forums, including regular reporting and ad hoc requests
  • Structure and organize datasets to ensure consistency and usability across reporting outputs
  • Improve and streamline reporting processes to enable more scalable and efficient delivery
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Business, and Data teams to align on definitions, outputs, and priorities
  • Validate and interpret results to ensure accuracy and provide clear, actionable insights
  • Support ongoing initiatives to enhance analytics capabilities and expand coverage

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in finance, analytics, or related roles within financial services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Experience working with large datasets and translating data into business insights
  • Advanced Excel skills (ability to manage and transform structured datasets)
  • Working knowledge of data tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Alteryx, or similar) to query data and support basic automation
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
     

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience within Commercial & Investment Banking
  • Familiarity with querying large datasets in environments such as Databricks or similar platforms
  • Experience improving or automating reporting workflows using practical tools (e.g., Excel-based automation, Python, Alteryx)
  • Ability to operate across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
