Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (Temp)

Perimeter: Americas

Reports to: Senior Director FP&A, Finance

JOB PURPOSE:

The FP&A Manager will support the Americas Finance team in monitoring business performance, improving margin visibility, and supporting decision-making in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on monthly close, margin variance analysis, budget and forecast support, and reporting.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support monthly Margin closing activities, including validation of COGS, inventory bookings, accruals, and related accounts.
  • Analyze and validate key P&L components within Direct and Indirect Margin, including product mix, channel mix, freight, duty and tariff impact, inventory depreciation, end-of-life inventory, and destruction charges.
  • Build and maintain margin bridges explaining variances versus prior year, budget, and latest forecast.
  • Analyze margin by channel, category, and store; identify outliers, investigate root causes, and flag financial risks, opportunities, and open items to management.
  • Support Margin budget and forecast cycles, challenging assumptions and ensuring alignment with business trends.
  • Prepare monthly reporting for HQ and management, translating margin results into clear insights and key takeaways.
  • Maintain margin reporting files, templates, and analysis tools to support efficient reporting and forecast cycles.
  • Act as a business partner to Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, Retail, Merchandising, and other departments to understand business drivers and support decision-making.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A or related analytical roles
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with ERP and planning systems (SAP and Anaplan a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, explain variances, and communicate key takeaways clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets across multiple systems and sources
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver accurately under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
  • Clear and concise communication skills with finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Background in luxury retail or consumer goods is a strong plus

The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $110,000 - $120,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate's relevant skills and experience.
