Summary:

Our Finance team is seeking a strategic and analytical finance leader to join our FP&A organization during an exciting period of growth and transformation. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role will partner closely with executive leadership to drive enterprise planning, forecasting, financial modeling, strategic decision support, and performance management across the organization.

The Director will lead the design and execution of scalable financial processes, reporting, and analytical frameworks that enable faster, data-driven decision-making. This role will also play a key part in advancing KBRA's finance transformation initiatives through automation, AI, and modern FP&A technologies.

The FP&A team serves as the financial nerve center of the organization, partnering with executive leadership to guide strategic decision making, capital allocation, resource planning, and long-range growth. The team owns enterprise planning, forecasting, board reporting, performance management, and finance transformation initiatives, while helping build the next generation of data-driven decision support capabilities

About the Job:

The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis will serve as a strategic finance partner to executive leadership, helping shape financial strategy through planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and decision support. This role combines traditional FP&A responsibilities with strategic finance, executive reporting, financial modeling, and finance transformation initiatives that improve how the business plans, measures, and allocates capital.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this individual will play a key role in supporting the CFO and executive leadership by delivering actionable insights, enhancing financial processes, and driving scalable reporting capabilities across the organization.

About You

You will be successful in this role if you possess:
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Consulting, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and influence business decisions through financial analysis and strategic insights, and executive-level communication.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modeling, cash flow modeling and analysis, and management reporting, including experience preparing executive and Board-level presentations.
  • Experience evaluating strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, capital allocation decisions, and business cases through rigorous financial analysis.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles, including experience partnering closely with Accounting.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving process improvements, automation, and scalable reporting solutions.
  • Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI, automation, and modern FP&A technologies to improve planning, reporting, forecasting, and business decision support.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and modern FP&A platforms (e.g., Aleph) is highly preferred.
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus.

Salary Range:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $200,000 Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
