Standard Job DescriptionTHE WORKWe are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Analyst to support the Maritime System RAN TLS & International FSR programs. This role will own the end-to-end financial and data-management cycle, delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables that drive accurate reporting, forecasting, and contract compliance across the portfolio. The analyst will partner closely with program managers, operations, and contracts to ensure timely billing, cost control, inventory control, and strategic-planning support.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to monthly financial tasks including journal entries, order bookings, POB header reconciliations, and budget change requests. Perform monthly OL forecasting and generate detailed performance reports for the PM team. Support management reviews (OPR, MPR, SIOP). Assist in quarterly CSR preparation and reviews, and drive annual LRP and Operational Plan development and assessments. Respond to ad-hoc data request.
Performs one or more multiple financial activities within various finance job functions (FP&A, Overhead, Program Finance, Accounting, Controller, etc.). Will include some or all of the responsibilities as defined. Performs financial analysis, establishes performance management budgeting, and forecasting activities to include variance analysis, trend identification, workforce planning drivers, risk and opportunities assessment and development of mitigation plans. Integrates information from multiple financial systems, processes and functions in order to consolidate the data forensics into actionable business solution recommendations.
Basic QualificationsBachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Desired SkillsRMS toolset experience (Hyperion, Cobra, PM Compass, ROADs)
International accounting experience
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00
