Position Description:

This position plays pivotal role in policy implementation, oversight, and broad management, leveraging the Robotic Operating Center of Excellence (ROCoE) framework to ensure operational compliance and logistics efficiency. In this capacity, the individual is responsible for establishing, reviewing, and editing vital supply, property control, and policy documents, as well as spreadsheets and briefings concerning system functionality. By applying programmatic, technical, and managerial problem solving, they identify value added processes to drive continuous improvement, while advising leadership on corrective actions, policy updates, and strategic directives to resolve system performance discrepancies.
This position is located in Arlington, Virginia.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Provide FM system expertise; identifying and reporting financial system problems and system process improvement requirements.
. Validate accounting records for accuracy; performing trend analysis utilizing performance metrics.
. Track accounting system changes and interfaces.
. Serve as a liaison with financial stakeholders such as the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS.)
. Provide technical guidance on financial matters.
. Conduct evaluations and analyses of FM operations.
. Support the development and implementation of the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) program and procedures.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. This includes managing daily operational tasks such as responding to data calls, compiling, and tracking performance metrics, maintaining distribution lists, and handling file organization. Additionally, the role involves downloading financial data, preparing financial reports, drafting high quality point papers, correspondence, and meeting minutes, and actively collaborating in workshops and briefings to keep the Government Task Lead continuously apprised of key developments and critical issues.
