Your responsibilities will include:- Owning month-end close end-to-end and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting
- Managing payroll, sales commissions, bill payments, expense reviews, and approval workflows
- Leading accounts receivable, collections, and DSO improvement across Mintlify and Helicone
- Overseeing revenue recognition and billing reconciliation across usage-based, credit-based, and multi-year contracts
- Owning federal and state tax compliance, filings, and the implementation of compliance tooling
- Managing standalone financial reporting, intercompany accounting, and billing infrastructure for Helicone
- Building internal controls, improving accounting processes, and preparing the business for future audit readiness
- Producing reliable metrics and reporting that leadership, investors, and the board can trust
Success in this role means creating a finance function that operates accurately, efficiently, and independently while enabling the company to scale confidently.
What you'll bring to the table- 5+ years of progressive accounting, controllership, or finance experience within SaaS or technology companies
- Deep expertise in full-cycle accounting, month-end close ownership, financial reporting, and GAAP
- Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition, including usage-based billing, credits, overages, and recurring revenue models
- Experience managing accounts receivable, collections, cash flow reporting, and operational finance processes
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, GRR, run-rate revenue, and DSO
- Proven ability to manage external accounting partners while maintaining ownership and accountability for outcomes
- Experience building and scaling finance processes in fast-growing environments
