Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst position is a highly visible role that is responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the division's business leaders. As the Senior Financial Analyst for the Engineering Cables division, you will be working for our high-growth project-based interconnect business in the rapidly evolving space and defense market with multiple global production sites. You will be contributing to the future of this division and the future of space.

This position reports to the Director of Finance and will help to drive our team's financial analytics capabilities with respect to the use of technology in data gathering, analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience (manufacturing business environment and public company experience highly desired)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field required
  • CMA, CPA, MBA preferred
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting / GAAP
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, paired with a constructive curiosity to drive change
  • Effective at building relationships and resolving issues independently
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver timely, accurate results
  • Experience with ERP data set extraction, clean-up, and analysis preferred
  • Track record of translating complex data into actionable insights
  • Strong technical skills and curiosity with respect to the use of technology:
    • Expert with MS Excel and/or Google Sheets
    • MS PowerPoint and/or Google Slides
    • Planful and/or other EPM software (Hyperion, TM1, etc.)
    • MS SQL knowledge is a plus
    • MS Power BI knowledge is a plus

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
  • Prepare internal management reports
  • Conduct financial variance analysis (i.e. BVA)

  • Evaluate business problems and build quantitative models to support business decisions

  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Pay Transparency:

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000, DOE per year. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
