Full Job Description

Location: Westchester, IL

Workplace Type: Hybrid

As the Financial Analyst, T&HS you will be responsible for Texture and Healthful Solutions financial forecasting and reporting; Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions; Identify opportunities to improve processes.  This role will report to the Sr. Manager, FP&A T&HS US/CAN.

What you will do:

  Financial Reporting

  • Prepare all monthly and quarterly comprehensive financial reports, including segment income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct analyses of financial performance, highlighting key drivers and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Analysis

  • Investigate and explain deviations from budgeted, forecasted, and prior period figures.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand underlying causes and propose corrective actions.
  • Track different performance aspects of our businesses, products, and plants and provide applicable feedback to ensure achievement of segment targets. 
  • Provide insights into the impact of variances on overall financial health.

 Budgeting/Forecasting

  • Support the annual T&HS US/Canada budgeting process and the periodic forecast updates during the calendar year, by working cross-functionally with all stakeholders (Commercial, Operations, etc.) to establish annual financial goals and properly identify risks and opportunities. 

Continuous Improvement

  • Execute special projects that focus on process improvements advancing an owner’s mindset and cost reduction at all levels across the segment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address specific business challenges.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency gains.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects and analysis along with financial presentations

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting; CPA a plus
  • 0-3 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, accounting, or auditing
  • Must be able to analyze financial results and assess impacts of business decisions
  • Must have a working knowledge of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP BW and BPC a plus.

Pay Range:

$84,400.00-$112,533.33 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
