Financial Analyst to join a growing
FP&A team within a PE-backed organization in Nashville. This role is heavily focused on
data-driven financial reporting, variance analysis, and building scalable reporting tools as the team continues to expand its FP&A and analytics capabilities.
This is an opportunity to join a
build-out environment, where you'll help strengthen financial reporting infrastructure, support Power BI expansion, and improve forecasting and decision-making processes across the business.
Responsibilities:- Prepare monthly financial reporting and perform P&L variance analysis
- Build and enhance financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly planning
- Develop and improve reporting dashboards and data tools, with a focus on Power BI expansion
- Analyze revenue, expense, and KPI trends to identify insights and risks
- Use Excel and SQL to manipulate and analyze large datasets
- Support month-end close and FP&A reporting cycles
- Translate complex financial data into clear insights for leadership decision-making
- Partner with FP&A leadership to improve reporting accuracy, automation, and forecasting processes
Qualifications:Required:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 2-4+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience
- Strong understanding of month-end close and FP&A cycles
- Advanced Excel skills (must be highly proficient)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to work through large datasets
- Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex data
Preferred:- Experience with Power BI and/or dashboard development
- Exposure to SQL or data reporting tools
- Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth environment
- Healthcare experience is a plus (not required)
- NetSuite exposure helpful but not required
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
