Financial Analyst

Siemens Smart Infrastructure, Electrical Products (EP) North America is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Circuit Protection & Control Team.

This position requires the incumbent to be onsite in Peachtree Corner, GA.

Overview of the position:

Consolidate financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information. Develop and review budgets, forecasts, and financial plans while monitoring compliance with approved budget allocations. Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and provide financial insights to improve operational and commercial performance

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Controlling
  • Develop reporting packages for Circuit Protection & Controls
  • Supporting monthly closing, forecasting, budget, and strategic planning activities.
  • Performing variance analysis to highlight key business drivers.
  • Partnering with CP&C Finance colleagues to identify opportunities that improve productivity and reporting accuracy

Digitalization & Continuous Improvement
  • Driving automation and digitalization initiatives within Circuit Protection & Control
  • Leveraging Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, AI, and other digital tools to improve reporting effectiveness
  • Enhancing data quality, reporting speed, and decision support capabilities

Reporting & Analysis
  • Develop financial bridges, identifying key elements that influence business profitability.
  • Support month-end close reporting, ad hoc financial analysis, budget support, and variance analysis to enable timely and accurate decision-making.
  • Ensuring correct aggregation, accuracy, and transparency regarding, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting, alongside annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for financial optimization
  • Work actively on ad hoc reporting and customized analysis, supporting CP&C management.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Performance Controlling, or related finance roles
  • Strong understanding of operational processes and their financial implications
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial management software
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to travel occasionally (5-10%).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ERP system-SAP Analytics Cloud and BI tools (Tableau, Knime, etc.)
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to critically assess data and solve complex problems.
  • Effective team communication, fostering collaboration, trust, and active engagement.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven, ensuring accuracy in financial reports and models.
  • Resilient and adaptable, maintaining focus and composure in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

The pay range for this position is $74,970 - $128,520 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
