What will you do? As a
Financial Analyst, you will act as a key finance partner to SI EA organization, ensuring commercial excellence, profitability, and risk control across all customer transactions for the SI EA business.
You will be responsible for business analysis, asset management and Commercial project management, while ensuring full compliance with Siemens' financial policies, internal controls, and governance standards.
Financial Analysis - Monitor order backlog to ensure timely revenue recognition
- Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning for the EA organization
- Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure timely execution aligned with customer requirements
- Partner with Project Manager and Credit teams to manage overdue accounts and collection performance
- Support monthly closing, reporting, and financial reviews
- Ensure compliance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (IFRS), internal controls, and governance standards
- Maintain accuracy and transparency of financial data in SAP and reporting systems
- Perform P&L and Balance Sheet analysis
- Support audits and internal reviews related to project commercial performance.
Commercial Project Support (CPM) - Support assigned projects from a commercial and financial perspective, acting as a finance partner to Project Managers
- Perform project financial planning, cost tracking, and profitability analysis (including revenue, margin, and cash flow)
- Develop and maintain Project forecasts, cost-to-complete analyses, and financial reporting in collaboration with Project Managers and Finance.
- Monitor project performance versus plan, highlighting risks and opportunities and proposing mitigation actions.
- Ensure accuracy and transparency of project financials in SAP and reporting systems
- Support change order pricing, contract reviews, and claim-related financial assessments
- Contribute to project reviews and reporting, ensuring alignment with Siemens financial guidelines and governance
- Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes, tools, and best practices across the Electrification & Automation portfolio.
What will you need to succeed? - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred
- 3+ years of experience in finance, controlling, or commercial finance roles
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, margin management, and cost control
- Experience in industrial and/or project-based environments is an advantage
- Solid understanding of contract terms
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel; familiarity with Power BI or AI-driven analytics is an asset
