This role will play a key role in supporting the GTM (go-to-market) organization. You will work in partnership with our Marketing team. You will also work closely with the broader finance and accounting team.
As a crucial member of the FP&A team at LogicMonitor, you are called upon to build complex analyses that will serve as the foundations for the LM team to make key strategic decisions. You will refine and master an ability to take vague business issues and abstract ideas into concrete, refined, and clear analyses that you'll then use to provide insights that frame business decisions and drive value creation. With a methodical, critically thinking, and numbers oriented mind - you'll be viewed as a key liaison with the functional teams.

You'll resolve issues related to forecasting, planning, resource prioritization and business performance, and you help translate analyses into easy-to-consume KPIs and presentations. Beyond rolling up the data accurately, you will look to validate the numbers by understanding the "story" behind them, performing variance analysis as well as developing and continuously refining insightful dashboards and presentations.

Here's a closer look at this key role:
  • Collaborate closely with GTM operation team to ensure one single source of truth when it comes to financial KPIs
  • Support the development, build-out, and reporting of key Marketing metrics including pipeline generated, open pipeline conversion, pipeline/program spend
  • Present financial data and analytics to an executive audience with clear recommendations that influence business decisions
  • Contextually understand financial data and modeling outputs, identifying gaps and creating solutions to address those gaps proactively
  • Support quarterly forecast and Annual Operating Plan processes, which include working closely with business partners to build highly detailed operating models and plans
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses on strategic projects
  • Define and manage real-time tracking of KPIs to ensure resources are efficiently allocated and aligned in support of annual operating plan and long term value creation thesis
  • Proactively highlight opportunities for process improvements
  • Prepare and maintain various complex financial models (i.e. What-if analysis) to support strategic initiative decision-making
  • Gain an intimate knowledge of LogicMonitor's business systems stack to support long term scale of the FP&A function, including becoming a subject matter expert at LM's Pigment and PowerBI platforms to support efficient forecasting, reporting, and dashboard generation

What You'll Need:
  • 3+ years of experience in investment banking, equity research, management consulting, accounting, and/or high growth enterprise SaaS
  • A Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics)
  • Prior experience supporting Sales and/or Marketing from an FP&A perspective in a SaaS company is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS KPIs such as LTV:CAC, pipeline conversion metrics, cost per opportunity, or pipeline to spend ratios
  • SQL skills highly preferred
  • Ability to present to CFO, VP finance and GTM leadership on investment proposals and outcomes
  • Possess a strong work ethic with a "get-it-done" attitude
  • An ability to develop and cultivate relationships with ease, and can have the nuanced ability to balance high level thinking with detail oriented execution is highly desirable
  • Ability to prioritize objectives in a fast-paced environment to ensure key deliverables are met in a timely manner
  • Efficient with managing tasks that require collaboration with stakeholders in different time zones

The Base Salary range for this role is:

$76,650-$105,420 USD
