Reports to: Manager, Infrastructure Finance, FM-PRO Finance
Salary Range:$78,954-$118,424 annually
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Status: Permanent, Full-Time
Closing Date: July 27, 2026

Position Summary

The Financial Analyst III is responsible for supporting the financial aspects of both the FM-PRO and Capital Finance Departments while adhering to all UHN policies, regulatory requirements and audit accountabilities to maintain appropriate internal and financial controls.

Duties
  • Month-end process (post journals, depreciation, settlement jobs)
  • Capital project accounting (Maintain Internal Orders and Order Groups)
  • Balance Sheet account reconciliations, continuity schedules and account analysis
  • Foundation billings for externally funded capital projects
  • Update & Maintain SAP Fixed Assets Sub ledger
  • Interim and Annual Audit requirements for capital reporting (e.g. UHN FS, HIRF, Provincial Consolidation)
  • External Reporting (Statistics Canada)
  • Enforce policies and procedures relating to capital spending


Qualifications
  • Completed or actively working towards obtaining a Canadian CPA designation
  • Relevant work experience: minimum 3 years
  • Experience in an accounting or auditing environment with exposure to financial modeling
  • Experience with efficiency improvements
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and embrace challenges
  • Computer literacy, required preferably in a Microsoft office environment, with an aptitude for learning new computer applications quickly
  • Adheres to confidentiality policy for sensitive financial data and information
