Job OverviewThe Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), plays a critical role in delivering insights on business trends and performance to Rewards Network's senior leadership. This position supports effective decision making and strategic planning through clear reporting, in depth analysis, and strong communication. Working closely with the Manager of FP&A and cross functional partners, the Financial Analyst provides reporting and insights that drive meaningful, transformative value for the organization.
What you'll bring to the table: (Responsibilities) • Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in month-end close activities, partnering closely with accounting, legal and operations
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial results and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Automate and continuously improve models to streamline reporting/planning processes to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency.
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and perform ad hoc analysis
• Collaborate with teams across data science, product, and technology to timely resolve any data integrity issues
Do you have the right mix of ingredients: (Requirements)- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, or financial analysis
- Strong skill and interest in modeling and analysis, with a demonstrated history of success in both
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (Power Query and SQL preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with building excel models
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and align financial plans with business objectives
- Understanding of internal controls and compliance in financial reporting
- Continuous improvement mindset for financial planning processes and tools
- Ability to handle large datasets (preferred)
What you'll love about us: - This is a full time, exempt position, and the base compensation for this opening is expected to be $75,000-$90,000, depending on level, candidate experience, skills and other factors. This position is eligible for a 7.5% bonus with a total compensation of $80,625-$96,750
