We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Financial Analyst in New York!

Responsibilities

  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that provide leadership with clear, actionable insights.
  • Consolidate and validate financial data from multiple sources to ensure accurate and consistent reporting.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to monitor financial and operational performance.
  • Partner with accounting and operations teams to explain financial results and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and manage costs.
  • Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, and profitability to support business objectives.
  • Support investment evaluations, return on investment (ROI) analyses, and cost-benefit assessments.
  • Improve financial reporting processes, tools, and internal controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Follow company financial policies and support compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Complete ad hoc analyses and special projects as assigned by the Controller.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Two to five years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a similar analytical role required.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with financial planning tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or Hyperion.
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into practical business insights.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines within time and resource constraints.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
  • Experience in hospitality or food service is a plus.
