Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA preferred
Experience in double entry and accrual accounting
Preferred background in financial institution accounting or operations
Experience with data mining, analysis, and interpretation
Strong interpersonal skills for professional interaction
Ability to work independently and accurately under pressure
Must be bondable
Responsibilities
Produce and submit timely regulatory reports
Provide reports to asset/liability and credit loss committees
Prepare financial and asset/liability reports for the credit union
Develop implementation enhancements and perform back testing
Maintain investment accounting ledgers and reports
Support administrative and operational functions across departments
Assist in preparing the annual budget and forecasting
Monitor and advise on accounting matters and policies

Job Duties
Produces and remits various regulatory reports in a timely manner
Provides relevant reports to committee members for the credit union's asset/liability and allowance for credit loss committees
Prepares credit union financial and asset/liability reports
Develop implementation enhancements, performs back testing, and facilitates periodic third-party validations
Maintains the credit union's investment accounting ledgers and reports
Participates in administrative and operational support of credit union departments
Assists with the preparation of the credit union's annual budget and forecasting
Provide ongoing monitoring and advice in credit union accounting matters especially emerging issues relating to the Funds Management Policy, the Allowance for Loan Loss Policy, the Investment Policy, and other relevant credit union policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA and/or CPA designation desired.
