Purpose:
The Finance Transformation Senior Analyst will leverage finance, transformation, and project delivery experience to independently lead defined projects and workstreams that advance strategic priorities across the Finance organization. This role will partner directly with Finance leaders, business stakeholders, Information Technology, and other cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into structured plans, drive day-to-day execution, manage risks and dependencies, and support implementation, adoption, and measurable business outcomes. The Senior Analyst is expected to operate as an experienced individual contributor who brings structure to ambiguous problems, maintains delivery momentum, and ensures stakeholders remain aligned on priorities, decisions, deliverables, and expected outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Lead defined Finance transformation projects and workstreams from planning through implementation, establishing clear scope, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and success measures.
- Translate complex or ambiguous business challenges into actionable plans by analyzing processes, data, controls, requirements, and organizational impacts and developing practical recommendations.
- Drive cross-functional execution across Finance, Technology, and business partners, proactively managing priorities, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and stakeholder commitments.
- Develop and communicate executive-ready analyses, business cases, presentations, status updates, and recommendations that enable timely, informed decision-making.
- Drive implementation readiness, adoption, and measurable outcomes through testing, training, communications, process documentation, controls, transition planning, and post-implementation monitoring.
- Identify opportunities to use technology, automation, data, and AI to improve Finance processes and transformation delivery while applying appropriate judgment and controls.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience, preferred in finance transformation, management consulting, project/program delivery, business transformation, finance operations, or process improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to independently own significant projects or workstreams from planning through implementation while managing priorities, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity, evaluate alternatives, adapt quickly, and translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Effective communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, including experience developing executive-ready materials and partnering effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- Curiosity and an innovation mindset, including the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes through technology, data, automation, and AI; Finance or financial-services experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree or relevant professional certification is a plus.
