In financial operations at PwC, you will specialise in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within organisations. Your work will involve assessing financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and design and implement solutions to streamline financial operations, enhance controls, and reduce costs. You will be responsible for providing guidance on financial systems implementation, process automation, and financial shared services.

Engagement Delivery

  • Work on challenging and rewarding Finance Transformation - EPM engagements with multidisciplinary teams
  • Support the delivery of Oracle EPM engagements, with a focus on planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management initiatives and hands-on design and configuration of OOTB EPM Modules such as Workforce Planning, Capital planning, Finance Planning etc.
  • Support the delivery of EDMCS including implementation, and integration with subscribed applications
  • Support delivery of other EPM tools such as EPCM/PCMCS, ARCS, FCCS etc.
  • Participate in current-state assessments of planning and forecasting processes and assist in identifying improvement opportunities
  • Assist in defining business and functional requirements for Oracle EPM Planning solutions, including planning models, assumptions, and forecasting logic
  • Support the configuration and implementation of Oracle EPM Cloud components
  • Assist with EPM data integration activities, including understanding source systems, data mappings, validation, and reconciliation requirements
  • Perform system configuration activities related to metadata, security, process flows, and controls
  • Contribute to process optimization and ERP/EPM-enabled finance improvements across FP&A and core finance processes
  • Support project delivery activities including timeline tracking, milestone management, and cross-functional coordination
  • Identify, monitor, and help resolve project issues and risks
  • Prepare, review, and contribute to high-quality engagement deliverables, ensuring they meet PwC and client quality standards
  • Establish credibility with existing and new clients by demonstrating subject-matter expertise in Oracle EPM and finance processes
  • Work within Agile project delivery environments for Oracle EPM implementation initiatives


People & Practice Development

  • Participate in proposal development activities, including proposal writing and collaboration
  • Team with PwC colleagues across other lines of service in support of client needs for Finance Consulting services
  • Support the development of thought leadership and point-of-view content related to Oracle EPM and Finance Transformation
  • Share EPM knowledge and delivery experience across the PwC network
  • Support junior team members through collaboration, informal coaching, and knowledge sharing
  • Actively participate in learning, development, and capability-building activities within the EPM practice

  • Experience working in a professional services environment (management consulting, industry, and/or software implementation)

Hands on experience with Oracle Cloud EPM, with emphasis on EPM Planning modules such as Workforce Planning, Capital Planning, Project Planning and Finance Planning
  • Hands on experience with EDMCS to design and configure applications, metadata hierarchies and integrate subscribing applications
  • Good to have experience in other EPM Tools such as EPCM/PCMCS, ARCS, and FCCS
  • Strong understanding of EPM system configuration, data integration, and finance process optimization
  • Solid understanding on planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, analytics, and decision support processes
  • Experience supporting process improvement or re-engineering initiatives in core back office accounting and/or FP&A functions
  • Strong client service orientation, including the ability to build relationships, prioritize work, and communicate effectively
  • Comfort working in Agile project delivery environments
  • Interest in continuous learning, digital upskilling, and emerging finance and technology trends including Gen AI
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT or a related field
  • Oracle EPM certifications or related professional credentials are an asset
  • 4-6 years of experience required in Oracle Cloud EPM suite (primarily on Planning modules)

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
