The Role:
As a member of FiCoE, you are accountable to deliver short-term financial targets while creating sustainable value in the long term. Other duties include providing insights, enabling enterprise and functional outcomes through financial and business analysis, and steering and monitoring of holistic company performance. You will also drive finance processes, delivering high quality and compliant financials required to support short and long-term planning, reporting, and decision-making. You will collaborate across the broader Roche organization to co-create solutions that ensure broad and equitable access of our diagnostics to patients and provide value to our customers.
The Opportunity:
As the Finance Rebate Analyst, you are responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of customer rebates (including admin fees and chargebacks), lead technical support solutions, and provide financial insights. This is done through collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders to retrieve and thoroughly analyze various data sets from external systems, provide explanations for rebate payments and rejections and interpret terms and agreements within our customer contracts. Through timely processing of our customer rebates submissions, you will ensure compliance to our customers core agreements while providing great customer service.
You will provide consultation and insights regarding open rebates disputes, tactics, best practices, policies and procedures. Duties are varied and complex, often involving massive data set processing, researching historical trends, and analysis to ensure proper and time-critical rebate payments. You are responsible for achieving quality objectives through daily actions needed to meet our monthly/quarterly deadlines.
The following requirements will be needed for this position:
Technical Lead to ensure tools functioning to support business requirements
Create Innovative Solutions to increase efficiency and reporting accuracy
Ability to Lead projects to support initiatives such as ASPIRE and/or Data Enablement
This position is based on-site at our Indianapolis campus and uses a hybrid (3 days per week) working model.

Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with external stakeholders to retrieve data from external websites and systems.
Review and analyze rebates and identify outliers to determine the validity of claims based on contract stipulations; create new outlier rules as needed.
Provide external stakeholder insights explaining rebate approvals and rejections.
Research and analyze historical rebate data to determine trends and ensure proper rebate payments.
Collaborate with the contracts team to resolve and provide recommendations regarding contract issues.
Support of other financial projects as needed.
Assists with the forecast and budget process by performing analysis, setting estimated targets, and partnering with internal departments and stakeholders
Prepares month, quarter and year-end analyses, reporting projections and closing process
Documents current processes at all times
Preferred Qualifications:
Typically has 3-4+ years of related accounting or financial experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
Excellent analytical and reporting skills, problem solving ability, and efficiency improvement mindset
Ability to build, develop and implement appropriate technical solutions to address business needs
Strong technical skills and knowledge of applications in a computerized environment, including spreadsheet applications and databases (e.g. SAP, MS Office, Tableau and Alteryx, SQL, TIMS, and Snowflake)
Contracting experience to understand terms and conditions
Demonstrated ability in prioritizing multiple projects that are smaller in scope
Comprehensive experience analyzing and solving business situations Ability to accomplish work through others
End-to-end thinker who drives innovative improvements to business processes, systems, and behavior
Ability to work independently and with teams that may include senior management
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $65,900-$122,500. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
