As a risk management generalist at PwC, you will provide advisory and practical support to teams across a wide range of specialist risk and compliance areas.

Our Transformation Risk & Advisory team is growing andcomprisesa truly international team, with a wealth of experience in transformation advisory services, program and project delivery and risk management. A key focus for the team currently is to embrace and use the latest digital technologies to enhance our servicedeliveryand successful candidates will be provided with focused training to support the adoption of these technologies. Based on our success in the marketplace, we are looking to expand our team's footprint and supportnew programsof work.

As aFinance ProgramManager,youllwork as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading or supportinginassessing/ deliveringlarge,complexFinancetransformationprograms/projectsbased on prior experience and knowledge of leading practicesforsuccessfullydelivering transformation programs

  • Work directly with Finance leaders and drive discussion and action items ensuring compliance with financial regulations

  • Identifyingkeytransformation program delivery risks and providing advice and recommendations foreffective mitigation

  • Analyzingprogram information/dataincluding budgetstoidentifykey insightson program performance and develop recommendations for improvement

  • Leading/assistingindeveloping and executing program and project assurance strategies and plans

  • Managingall phases ofclient engagements, including supervising PwC teams, ensuring quality ofdeliverablesand managing engagement economics

  • Assistingindelivering compelling presentations anddriving impactful conversations with senior client leaders

  • Engaging in business development activities, includingdevelopingresponses to requests for proposals

  • Managinga variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties

  • Demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning, develops and empowers others, contributes to building a strong and inclusive practice, and consistently upholds the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Experiences and skillsyoulluse to solve

  • Extensiveexperiencein delivering and/or assessing large, digitaltransformation programsthat includes:

  • Leading project/programperformanceassessments, program gateway reviews, risk-basedreviewsand cost reconciliation exercises

  • Designing the program management and/or program assurance strategies

  • Strong understandingof transformationproject/programimplementation lifecycle and associated risks

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively negotiate, problem solve, and influence through verbal and written communications

  • Bachelor orMastersDegree infinance or CPA is considered an Asset

  • Certified Project Manager (PMIPMBOK,APMBOK, PRINCE2, MSP,MoR, Agile, or Benefit Realization)desirable

  • Proficiencyinuseof Excel.Powerpoint, MS Project, Jira

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700.The posted salary rangerepresentsthe expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary isdeterminedby your skills, experience,qualificationsand work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities toparticipatein variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
