Full Job Description
Zurich North America is currently looking for a Finance Operations Analyst to join the Finance Operations team in our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. As a Finance Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the Cash processing team, including automation, receivable results and related customer service. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of insurance and have strong analytic and interpersonal skills, in order to guide the team to the expected service levels, follow defined procedures, and partner with internal colleagues.

Responsibilities for this role:

  • Meet regularly with team to discuss progress towards objectives
  • Serve as subject matter expert on cash processing
  • Support our control environment
  • Conduct quality audits on vendor performance
  • Approve daily ACH draws
  • Investigate and report automation errors
  • Ensure timely and quality customer service for self and team
  • Collaborate with internal business colleagues
  • Identify opportunities and implement process improvements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
    OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
    OR
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Professional, including an Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting and Finance area
    AND
  • General ledger transactional experience
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with Business Objectives or other query tools


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Insurance industry experience
  • Experience with billing and receivables
  • Knowledge of Insurance industry and Surety specifically
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience


Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The proposed Salary range for this position is $93,400.00 - $136,500.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
