As the Finance Manager, you will partner directly with business and finance teams to identify the right business strategies, help define roadmaps, and provide guidance and reporting. You will play a critical role in communicating business strategy and results with company leadership up to the SVP level. You will own planning and reporting that supports a Senior Executive Team member's goal. You will lead planning cycles for the org, to deliver robust OP plans that are challenging yet realistic. Key job responsibilities - Lead planning cycles for the WW Returns and Recommerce org, bringing together a large number of stakeholders, getting them organized, pulling together high quality financials, and sharing a clear story with senior executives. - Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon. These decisions can have global impact. - Uses SQL, financial systems and advanced MS Excel functions to work with large data sets. About the team The WWRR finance team works on high visibility, complex deliverables that have a huge impact on Amazon's bottom-line. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - MBA, or CPA - 7+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience - 7+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results The base salary range for this position is listed below.
