Finance Manager reports to the Senior Manager, Finance - Engines and holds full responsibility for all financial matters related to the Plant. In this role, you will serve as the primary financial advisor to the Plant Head and key business leaders, ensuring decisions are grounded in accurate, timely, and actionable financial insight. You will operate in alignment with Rehlko's policies, procedures, and matrixed organizational structure, maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and professionalism across all levels of leadership.
The overarching goal of this position is to deliver meaningful, timely information that not only supports day-to-day operations but also drives continuous improvement across the Engines Business.
This is an onsite role based at our Hattiesburg, MS facility. Specific Responsibilities:- Serve as financial advisor with responsibility for the Hattiesburg P&L. This entails operating in a matrix organization, advising the business segment leaders, and all key managers in the business including the plant manager. Analyze and quantify business activities and decisions in financial terms using Rehlko methodologies.
- Knowledgeable of Rehlko standard policies and procedures, ensuring all plant functions are aware of and operate to those standards.
- Facilitates frequent communication with all functions at the plant and all functions within the business segment. Expected to be adept and communicating financial information inside and outside of the finance and also able to effectively communicate upwards.
- Responsible for all activities relating to the accounting and payroll functions of the plant including supervising any staff support.
- Participate in annual Capital, Financial, and Strategic Planning by providing requirements to the Divisional Accounting and Operations functions. Prepare plant budgets and coordinate with the Divisional Accounting function in setting of standard costs.
- Provide monthly forecasts to Plant Management and Divisional Accounting and Operations functions as required.
- Monitor and report monthly variances, spending, production, shipments, inventories, performance measures, etc. as required by Plant Management and Divisional Accounting and Operations functions. Analyze and report financial and operational performance to standards.
- Provide the financial and operational analysis to Plant Management as required, both on an on-going monthly basis as well as special projects.
- Provide Divisional and Corporate Financial, Accounting, Legal, Human Resources, Tax, and Operational functions with data as required.
- Assist Plant Management in developing meaningful performance and operational measurements.
- Work closely with materials associates at the plant to assure inventory control and turn rate objectives are met. Develop inventory control procedures as required, including the plant physical inventory and cycle counting.
- Assure any vendor invoices received locally are properly screened and transmitted to Rehlko Accounts Payable function for payment.
- Assure proper processing and accounting for scrap, rework, loss reporting, material usage, and other production data as required.
- Responsible for the development of the supporting staff. This role includes providing knowledge transfer, coaching, feedback and candid appraisal.
- Assist Plant Management and supervision in preparation of ACT's.
- Provide financial (and operating) training to plant associates as required. Example: Financial topics for non-financial managers and associates. This would include training of associates on the shop floor on scorecard measurements.
- Ensure proper record keeping and reporting is provided to Plant Management and supervision, and to Divisional and Corporate functions, as well as to outside tax or government entities as required.
- Provide Plant Management and supervision with recommendations on improving plant financial and operational performance and results.
- Maintain the highest level of honesty and integrity. Expect and promote that same level of honesty and integrity in the supporting staff and other plant functions.
Requirements:- A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Five years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing support role.
- Experience in SAP financial reporting is also desirable.

The Salary range for this position is $94,400.00-$119,950.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
