Full Job Description
The Finance Manager is responsible for building and maintaining the team's technical reporting platform, facilitating data analytics, participating in AI development, and supporting the financial cadence of the business. The Finance Manager reports directly to the Director of Finance, as well as indirectly to internal business partners on financial matters, supporting data-driven business decisions and strategy. A successful Finance Manager will not only report information, but also provide actionable insight and guidance to business leaders. This person will be a technical expert with the intellectual curiosity to learn the operational side of our business.

Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop, and maintain existing/new reporting platforms in Power BI and other systems.
  • Partner with finance, accounting, and operations leaders on analytics and reporting to support business initiatives.
  • Contribute to development of AI tools to support analytics and efficiency in-line with company objectives.
  • Own annual, quarterly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting processes and automations.
  • Collaborate with business partners on the data team to advise on data architecture and collaborate as needed.
  • Provide insightful reporting for various levels/areas that links the past and present to future expectations for key value drivers of the business.
  • Communicate and collaborate with people at all levels throughout the organization, including executive management.
  • Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with Company policies. Ensure compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal and other regulatory bodies
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

Required
  • Expert/Master level skill in Power BI, from data ingestion, ETL, measure creation, to report design and layout
  • Expert/Master in Microsoft Excel and ERP/GL systems such as Oracle
  • Advanced knowledge of: SQL, Microsoft Fabric (dataflow and pipeline), VBA, Oracle, Claude, and AI platforms
  • Ability to adapt developed skillsets to an AI environment
  • Passion for pulling meaning from large datasets
  • 6-8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or data science

Preferred
  • Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Systems or Hyperion Financial Management
  • Experience with forecasting/budgeting process
