Full Job Description
The Finance Manager serves as a key financial and accounting leader for the GSE business unit, with primary responsibility for the Orlando operation and coordination of financial reporting across GSE locations, including India, Singapore, Warrenton, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Spain.

A significant responsibility of this position is revenue recognition under ASC 606 The Finance Manager will review customer contracts and other commercial arrangements, evaluate appropriate accounting treatment and revenue recognition, document accounting conclusions as appropriate, and advise Operations and other business partners regarding the financial and accounting implications of contractual terms.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.
  • Lead the month-end close process for the GSE Orlando operation, ensuring timely and accurate financial results in accordance with U.S. GAAP and the Corporate Accounting Policies and Procedures (CAPP) Manual.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the Orlando finance and accounting team, including prioritization of work, review of deliverables, development of team members, and accountability for timely and accurate execution.
  • Serve as a technical accounting resource for the GSE business, researching and applying U.S. GAAP to business transactions and providing accounting guidance to Operations, Finance, and other business partners.
  • Review customer contracts and commercial arrangements to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers, including evaluation of contractual terms, performance obligations, transaction price, timing of revenue recognition, and other relevant accounting considerations.
  • Partner with Operations and other stakeholders regarding contractual terms and business arrangements that may affect revenue recognition, financial reporting, or accounting treatment.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and other general ledger activity to ensure accuracy, appropriate supporting documentation, and compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Coordinate quarter-end and other consolidated financial reporting activities across GSE locations, including Orlando, India, Singapore, Warrenton, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Spain. Partner with local finance managers to ensure complete, accurate, and timely reporting and respond to consolidated reporting and ad hoc data requests.
  • Analyze monthly financial results and communicate key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities to management. Partner with cross-functional teams to address business issues affecting financial performance.
  • Support the development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts and partner with Operations leadership in planning, measuring, and reporting business performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability through pricing, productivity, cost efficiency, and other operational initiatives, providing financial analysis and recommendations to business leadership.
  • Promote sound capital allocation decisions and support appropriation requests for capital projects and other business investments.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting. Evaluate the financial and control impact of process or system changes and update Sarbanes-Oxley documentation as required.
  • Support intercompany accounting activities, including inventory transactions and profit-in-inventory elimination processes, as applicable.
  • Partner with Internal Audit and external auditors, coordinate requested documentation and analysis, and support timely resolution of audit matters.
  • Develop and improve financial processes, reporting, and metrics that increase accuracy, efficiency, consistency, and visibility across the GSE organization.
  • Participate in site performance reviews and operational finance discussions to strengthen alignment between financial results, forecasts, and operational execution.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Continuous Improvement Management System (CIMS) tools and concepts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Six (6) or more years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP including revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
  • One (1) or more years of managerial/supervisory experience.
  • Ability to travel ~10%.


STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with demonstrated experience researching, interpreting, and applying U.S. GAAP to business transactions.
  • Demonstrated experience with ASC 606, including review and interpretation of customer contracts for revenue recognition implications.
  • Experience leading month-end close, reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, and ensuring general ledger accuracy.
  • Experience coordinating financial reporting across multiple locations, business units, or international operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex accounting matters to both financial and non-financial stakeholders and influence senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, develop, and manage a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and reporting deadlines.

Pay Range:
$103,300.00 - $177,700.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
