This is a hands-on role at the center of our business department. You'll be the engine behind our accounting, billing and reporting functions, working closely with agents, consultants, and leadership across all sports divisions. The right person is a high-energy problem solver, has a can-do mindset, organized, detail-obsessed, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of clients and moving parts.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Month-End Close
  • Own the month-end close process, including accruals, and account reconciliations across all sports divisions
  • Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedules and ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with contract terms
  • Manage commission expense reconciliations, bonus tracking, and P&L reporting by sport, client, and deal type

Accounts Receivable & Billing
  • Manage the end-to-end invoicing cycle for 300+ clients on a bi-annual schedule, including invoice creation, distribution and collections follow-up
  • Track invoice status, outstanding balances and payment receipts; maintain clean AR records at all times
  • Coordinate directly with financial advisors/consultants on remittances, disputes, tax documentation (1099s) and reconciliations
  • Notify agents and internal stakeholders upon receipt of client payments

Financial Reporting & Cash Flow
  • Prepare weekly cash flow schedules and support rolling forecasts
  • Generate recurring financial reports segmented by sport, client, booking type, and revenue category
  • Lead and support weekly and monthly AR review meetings across multiple divisions
  • Assist with budgeting and expense tracking, including equipment spend and pre-draft player stipends

Contract & Revenue Tracking
  • Enter and maintain athlete contracts, deal terms and commission structures across internal systems (Airtable or equivalent)
  • Track invoicing dates, revenue recognition schedules, and deal milestones for salaries, bonuses, brand deals, trading cards and memorabilia agreements
  • Support union reporting requirements and maintain compliance documentation

Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Partner with FP&A to build and maintain financial models, and to participate in the annual company-wide budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
  • Support FP&A with evaluating project P&L's (including T&E) and revenue pipelines

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • 5-8 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with strong command of AR, accrual accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems required
  • Experience with Airtable or other workflow/database platforms strongly preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume data with accuracy
  • Strong communicator who can work fluidly with agents, advisors, and senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple deadlines independently

Preferred Background:
  • Prior experience in a sports agency, talent management, entertainment or professional sports organization
  • Familiarity with athlete contracts, NIL deals, commission structures and sports marketing agreements
  • Experience supporting union reporting or multi-entity financial environments
