About the role and the team:The Finance Manager, Global Customer Experience (GCX) will ensure business decisions rely on accurate and reliable financial metrics. You will promote cost awareness and efficiency in the GCX teams. Their mission is to help eBay's customers quickly and simply. They aim to solve problems efficiently while making customers feel great about eBay.
What You Will Accomplish- Coordinate spend and support the business in managing expenditures as part of the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
- Develop standardized automated presentation content for Monthly Business Review of important data and expense drivers, providing actionable monthly reports comparing actual trends against budget and forecast assumptions
- Complete the monthly financial close, journal entries, accurate financial reporting of expenses, and the hiring plans for all the Global functions
- Partner with Capacity Planning, Partner Management, and leadership to align monthly and quarterly spend and ensure clarity on investment opportunities and savings
- Own the relationship with our shared service center Genpact to streamline processes and ensure accuracy
- Guide decisions and resource allocations by providing insights and challenging assumptions based on trends and variance analysis
- Collaborate with analytics, Global customer insights, and the business to develop return on investment models for data-driven decision making passionate about long-term balanced profitable growth
- Use initiative to coordinate and analyze large quantities of data, drawing out valuable insights using Excel, SQL, and Tableau
- Understand the business in depth to identify the levers that might unlock valuable customer retention and dedication
What You Will Bring- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, or related corporate finance functions
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field required
- Strong experience in FP&A/finance business partnering
- Leadership experience and experience leading a team
- Strong MS Excel command
- Ability to present and drive decision-making at all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to partner effectively with all functions and levels within the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and deliver on tight timelines
- Ability to perform in a matrix organization with a high degree of complexity and ambiguity
Additional DetailsThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
120,000-150,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
