Full Job Description
The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join Fliff and support the financial management of our organization by assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial planning and demonstrate excellent attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate, timely financial reports, including budgeting, tax documents, month-end and year-end close reports, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review comprehensive monthly financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and additional financial reports, ensuring accuracy in all financial data.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports on key financial metrics, such as profitability, revenue growth, and cash flow.
  • Process payroll and manage contractor payments to ensure timely, accurate compensation.
  • Oversee accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions, working with relevant departments to ensure smooth processing.
  • Support the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and scalable financial processes.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects to support other functions and overall business objectives.

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends and insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
  • Self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision and has a proven track record of managing upward.
