We are seeking a
Finance Manager for our
First Quality Retail Services company located in
Lewistown, PA. This position is responsible for ensuring proper application of internal and external accounting requirements across all business processes & functions used in the development of financial statements. Lead and develop team of finance professionals, use of effective communication to improve business results and meet strategic company objectives.
Primary responsibilities include: - Develop and approve journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and perform variance analysis and communication.
- Generate accurate and timely monthly financial statements.
- Provide oversight to Accounts Payable for problem solving and process improvements. Evaluate weekly payment proposals for accuracy.
- Monitor changes to business practices ensuring appropriate internal controls exist.
- Business partner providing guidance and training on accounting matters to other business functions such as Procurement, Engineering, and Operations.
- Drive process improvements, communicate cost savings opportunities and spending issues.
- Owner of annual budget templates and upload process.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team of financial professionals.
- Additional duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:- Requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- MBA, CPA, and/or CMA preferred, but not required.
- 5-7+ years of relevant job experience in an Accounting or Finance role, including a minimum of three years in a supervisory role
