Responsibilities

Full Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • Own the Canadian P&L, including balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close activities, actuals review, business performance analysis, and leadership presentations.
  • Lead Canada's monthly forecasting process by preparing actuals and forecasts on time, coordinating with team members to deliver P&L analysis, commentary, and risks and opportunities.
  • Lead Finance support for innovation and brands, including local business cases, brand finance reporting, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Lead regional spend reviews by managing monthly variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting business partners with decisions and forecasts.
  • Provide key Finance support for core platforms, ensuring data integrity, data transmission, and end-user adoption across Anaplan, SAP, TM1, and Concur; support reconciliations, approvals, budget tracking, and ongoing process improvements.
  • Partner with the Finance Support Team (BES) to advance best practices and strengthen internal controls.
  • Act as a key Finance partner for Canada prim[redacted], distributors (SGWS), and vendors on accounting and finance-related matters.
  • Collaborate with NAM Finance on business performance through presentation decks, financial reporting, and performance commentary.
  • Elevate Canada Finance through training and education sessions, ad hoc project support, and system implementation support and support the Finance Director and broader team in developing Bacardi Canada's annual plan and budget.


SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Finance Business Partner, ideally in CPG and/or alcohol, supporting a commercial function such as Sales or Marketing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing, and deadline-driven environment. Able to communicate complex information clearly and simply. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to connect details to the broader business context.
  • Advanced Excel and SAP skills; experience with TM1 databases and Power BI is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance; MBA and/or accounting designation completed or in progress preferred.

    This is a replacement vacancy with an expected hiring salary range of $90-$120K. Salary can be flexible depending on level of experience. This is a hybrid work arrangement.
