This position reports to:Division CFO Smart Buildings
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a business partner to the NEMA Business Line manager and leads local finance teams to optimize the financial performance within an assigned division / business area. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions.

This role is contributing to the Business Line NEMA, Smart Buildings, Electrification in the US and can be located in either Atlanta, GA or Cary, NC.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Driving and improving financial performance of the business line NEMA per the division targets
- Driving the definition and implementation of global standards and business specific guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in financial control process within your area of responsibility.
- Leading, providing guidance, and facilitating best practices to ensure alignment and consistency of controlling practices.
- Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality, and efficiency for your area of responsibility.
- Securing transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.

Qualifications for the role - 10 or more years experience as a senior finance manager (Operations & Sales)
- You enjoy working in a global environment
- Bring a hands on approach while driving strategic moves to improve financials
- Experienced in leading and international team from different functional backgrounds.
- Degree in finance (Masters preferred but not required)
- You are at ease communicating in English with senior management (i.e. Division President & CFO)
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
