Role Overview and ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Minneapolis General Manager, this role supports the Minneapolis team and is responsible for accurate reporting of the financial performance of the site. The position will partner with subject matter experts from the commercial team and operations to build out management review packs, budgets, and forecasts. The position provides leadership across finance, forecasting, planning, analysis, controls, and business partnership to optimize operational and commercial outcomes. The Business Partner will provide strategic support to the General Manager, offering support in various aspects of the business, including commercial and operational strategy. This role acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, supporting decision-making while ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, and performance management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to Minneapolis Site Lead, the primary purpose of the role is to contribute to the attainment of the company's business objectives by:
- Partnering with site General Manager to provide overall business finance support - ability to perform as a tactical & strategic advisor.
- Providing effective leadership to drive business results.
- Ensuring the site operates in accordance with the TT Group policies and ensuring the sound financial management and control of the Company's operations.
- Ownership of the site month end financial close, ensuring completion within Group deadlines and HFM is updated appropriately.
- Oversight and review of the balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all key reconciliations have been prepared and reviewed ahead of HFM monthly results submissions
- Managing the financial outlook, ensuring an accurate forecast and understanding of key drivers of variances. Working with operations and the commercial team to understand the root cause of the data. Provides the necessary support to meet timely commitments, with a high quality of work.
- Providing insightful analysis, support business decisions, understanding key contracts and KPIs, providing analysis of variances and support of corrective actions as required.
- Leading the preparation of consolidated reports, strategic plans and annual budgets for the business.

- Education/Experience/Credentials: BA/BS degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. MBA is preferred. Experience working in DoD and/or manufacturing industry a plus. Experience in working with standard costing.
- Language Ability: Excellent communication both written and verbal. Ability to read and analyze periodicals, business reports, correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, Team Members and the public. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. The Individual must possess strong skills in grammar and proofreading.
- Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.

- Computer Skills: Ability to use office software, including Word processing, Excel/Spreadsheets, Databases, Slide Presentations, Internet browsers, E-mail, and business systems software. Experience in the implementation of ERP Systems (Epicor) and Hyperion financial reporting systems preferred.
