At PwC, our people in finance consulting specialise in providing consulting services related to financial management and strategy. These individuals analyse client needs, develop financial solutions, and offer guidance and support to help clients optimise their financial performance, improve decision-making, and achieve their financial goals.

In enterprise performance management at PwC, you will focus on helping clients improve their financial performance and decision-making processes. You will analyse financial data, develop performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), and design and implement performance management frameworks. You will be responsible for providing guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to drive operational efficiency and achieve strategic objectives.

  • Work with colleagues across PwC to sell and deliver business-led, technology enabled projects to fulfill client needs for Finance Consulting services
  • Participate and support the preparation of workshops with key Finance stakeholders
  • Play an active part in the delivery of Finance Transformation engagements, including
  • Finance technology tool implementations for Finance Operations (e.g. SAP, Workday, Microsoft and Oracle)
  • Refine processes and requirements, support creating and execute scenarios for testing (e.g., in the support of implementation projects).
  • Finance Vision & Strategy and Target Operating Model design
  • Finance Processes assessment and improvement supported by technology
  • Support the engagement manager / director / partner in managing engagement risk and project economics including planning and budgeting
  • Prepare deliverable content and ensure the quality of deliverables meets with PwC and client expectations
  • Participate in aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to proposal writing


What You'll Bring
  • An interest in upskilling a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
  • Experience in government and public sector is required
  • Professional Finance experience is an asset (e.g. Accounting, FP&A, Reporting & Analytics)
  • Consulting or audit experience is an asset
  • MBA and/or a CPA designation is an asset
  • Experience with ERP implementation initiatives and projects (e.g. SAP, Workday, Microsoft and Oracle) is an asset
  • Working expertise or understanding in many, if not all, of the core Accounting areas:
  • Record-to-Report - financial close, consolidation, financial reporting, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Payroll
  • Order-to-Cash - order entry, customer credit, invoicing, accounts receivable, collections,
  • Procure-to-Pay - procurement, accounts payable
  • Experience in process improvement or re-engineering initiatives and projects in the core back-office accounting areas (see above) in either a consultant or internal role.

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
