As a Vice President, Business Manager in the Commercial & Investment Bank Finance & Business Management team, you will support the Client Onboarding & Documentation organization, and specifically the Head of Controls and Head of the Reviewer team, which is responsible for Quality Control for the Wholesale Know Your Customer utility.

We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and execution-oriented candidate to join our Business Management team. This high-impact role partners with leaders across CIB Operations, Digital & Platform Services, Finance, Controls, and Data & Analytics to drive transformation initiatives, shape product and operations strategy, and convert data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders. The position blends portfolio management, operating model design, and hands-on delivery to enable effective end-to-end execution and support the business in achieving measurable outcomes and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leaders to define objectives, targets, and metrics; translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes
  • Lead or support operations product and transformation initiatives, including process re-engineering, digitization, AI/automation use cases, and location/real-estate planning, from problem framing through benefits realization
  • Own headcount and expense forecasting in partnership with Finance; support annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly business reviews
  • Manage allocations and activity-based costing; support cost-to-serve modeling and benchmarking to inform pricing and investment priorities
  • Develop rigorous business cases and investment memos, including problem statements, options analysis, financial models, risks/assumptions, and success metrics, as well run the investment governance process: intake, prioritization, approvals, and benefits tracking
  • Build and evolve operational and product metrics frameworks; design executive dashboards and management reporting that connect Key Performance Indicators to strategy
  • Analyze large, complex data sets to identify performance trends and root causes; turn insights into concise executive narratives and recommendations
  • Prepare and deliver materials for senior forums (town halls, Business Reviews, QBRs), helping the business "tell the story" with clarity and impact
  • Coordinate deliverables across business managers, finance, technology, and operations; drive cross-functional decisioning and issue resolution
  • Manage business hygiene and governance (training, access recertifications, resiliency planning, expense approvals); support people agenda initiatives and organizational communications

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in financial services or adjacent industries in roles such as business management, operations/product management, strategy/consulting, or transformation
  • Demonstrated experience leading operations product or transformation efforts (e.g., process redesign, digitization, analytics/AI enablement) with measurable outcomes
  • Proven ability to craft investment-grade business cases and executive-ready materials; strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, allocations, and cost modeling
  • Advanced data literacy: ability to structure analysis, interpret complex data, and translate insights into decisions; comfort partnering with data & analytics teams
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills-able to distill complexity into compelling narratives for senior audiences
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across multiple levels and functions; ability to influence without direct authority
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
