Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or 14 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Completion of Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I, or 2 years on a joint operational/strategic headquarters staff accepted in lieu.
• In-depth understanding of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) for planning and executing Field Training Exercises (FTX).
• Demonstrated experience in operations management with responsibility for project oversight and timeline maintenance.
• Background in operations planning with the US Armed Services and collaboration with Allied nations.

Responsibilities

• Support USINDOPACOM with planning and assessment of high-end exercises like KEEN SWORD and TALISMAN SABER.
• Maintain a detailed plan with milestones and produce necessary orders, briefings, and deliverables for exercises.
• Coordinate with staff and organizations to ensure the right personnel, equipment, and forces are in place for exercise objectives.
• Develop and maintain efficient exercise planning protocols and procedures.
• Lead planning meetings and In-Progress Reviews (IPRs) involving all stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Maintain J731 exercise information data sites and address Requests for Information (RFIs) related to exercises.
• Create exercise orders or directives for guiding planning efforts.
