Job Description Summary Seeking an energetic Safety Engineer with strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and assist with identifying risks that support safety programs for one of the most advanced semiconductor facilities in the United States. Role and Responsibilities Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For: • Ability to anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance at a semiconductor facility. • Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; and advise and educate others. • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements. • Evaluation of task performance to ensure compliance with site and regulatory requirements. • Document and track results to support safety program elements. • Conduct incident investigations, site inspections, identify root cause, determine corrective actions, and support implementation. • Conduct employee training for education on site safety requirements. • Conduct monthly meetings with safety sub-committee. • Review and audit pre-task plans, site risk analyses and standard operating procedures. • Assist with the daily management of the tiered auditing program including closure of facility’s preventative and corrective action plans. Skills and Qualifications Here's what you'll need: >3 years’ experience in Health and Safety performing similar tasks required Bachelor of Science or MS in Safety, IH, Environmental Science, Engineering, or closely related field Certification such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc. or ability to be certified required. Familiarity with OSHA Regulations (Construction and General Industry) and reporting guidelines Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel on site required. Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and candor. Ability to perform training to ensure proper H&S practices and awareness. Keen understanding of best practices and implementation. Proficiency in Microsoft software programs. Preference for experience in General Industry at a semiconductor manufacturing (FAB) facility. The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
