Project Commissioning and On-Site Lead

Key Elements

  • Management of small site team for site installation of air handling units.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously.
  • Communicate with general contractor and client team on site regarding program, site issues, health, safety and quality.
  • Producing concise accurate reports for management team.
  • Commercial awareness to include ensuring project costs are controlled and as per budget.
  • Ensure the clients are given a high-quality finished product and service.
  • Identifying strengths and weaknesses of site operatives and harnessing these to create highly skilled and efficient site teams. Training to be provided where any weaknesses are identified.
  • Ensuring all site conditions and requirements are met for inductions, RAMS, permits, PPE etc.
  • Materials and equipment planning and ordering, so all needs are met on site.
  • Constantly seeking ways to streamline and develop site installation and commissioning with product and service quality as a key driver.
  • Monitoring and accurately recording any delays or issues on site which may have commercial repercussions.
  • Monitor performance of team on site and notify management of any issues.
  • Drafting reports, RAMS, lessons learned documentation etc. to a high standard of quality.

  • Record keeping post-commissioning through our main platform UpKeep, to ensure each ASSET in the field is tracked consistently.

Good to haves
  • Journeyman ticket in Electrical
  • First Aid, Electrical / Mechanical background, OSHA30, NFPA70E, Manual Handling, Safepass, Working at heights.
  • Experience in HVAC delivery within DC industry.
  • Ability to read technical drawings including P&IDs and Electrical Diagrams.


Must haves
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in site supervision role in manufacturing or construction application.
  • Intermediate skills level across Microsoft suite of applications.
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written.
  • Full driver's license and reliable transportation.
