Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Fiels Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate construction activities across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, improving performance, driving efficiency, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality construction projects.
Description:Project Planning & Execution- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects within time and budget.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to align schedules and deliverables.
- Oversee resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Operational Oversight- Monitor and evaluate overall company operations to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
- Track project KPIs and report performance to senior management.
Team Leadership & Management- Recruit, train, and manage operations staff, site teams, and subcontractors.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Quality Assurance & Compliance- Implement quality control standards and supervise compliance at all project sites.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements in construction operations.
Client & Stakeholder Communication- Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and consultants.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and key decisions.
- Support the business development team in preparing bids and project proposals.
Budget & Cost Control- Monitor project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Approve procurement of construction materials and services.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and minimize operational inefficiencies.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in building/vertical construction operations, Preferably in New York City, with at least 5 years in a Senior managerial role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and project management methodologies.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD,Procore).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
