This position serves as the primary Raytheon representative supporting ITAS CLS operations in Louisville/Fairdale, Kentucky. The successful candidate will provide operational leadership for a geographically dispersed workforce while overseeing Field Service Representatives (FSRs), logistics personnel, depot technicians, and subcontractor activities supporting worldwide ITAS sustainment operations.
This position requires the flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time, including occasional trips outside the continental United States (OCONUS) of 1–2 weeks in duration.
What You Will Do
- Communicate with Program Managers, section managers, customers, and subcontractors on a regular basis to ensure program requirements are met. Attend and host tag-ups with Field Engineers, depot personnel, and Program Managers.
- Serve as the primary Raytheon representative supporting ITAS CLS operations in Louisville/Fairdale, Kentucky overseeing Field Service Representatives, logistics personnel, depot technicians, and subcontractor activities supporting domestic and international ITAS sustainment operations.
- Work with program finance, using EVMS principles, to ensure budgets are on track. Support customer funding forecasts and contribute to proposals by creating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and preparing them for functional and program approval and support development, coordination, and execution of customer-funded Technical Directives (TDs), including cost estimating, funding requirements, and customer coordination.
- Communicate and coordinate with parties within and outside of the team, including EHS, Global Trade, Finance, Contracts, Human Resources, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
- Coordinate logistics and depot activities to support operational readiness, repair execution, inventory management, and material movement requirements.
- Ensure field engineers are provided an in-brief regarding company and program expectations and provide input and feedback to trainers and FSR leadership regarding employee performance, training needs, hiring decisions, and workforce development.
- Work across the Field Engineering Directorate to ensure programs are properly staffed by sharing resources, supporting requisitions, and participating in interview panels.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, including occasional OCONUS trips, to support field operations and engage directly with customers and stakeholders.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Prior experience in field operations management with a emphasis on customer engagement, operational execution, and end-user support.
- Experience managing a geographically dispersed workforce, including field service, logistics, maintenance, or technical support personnel.
- Experience overseeing contractor or subcontractor performance, including compliance, quality, staffing, training, and safety requirements.
- Experience coordinating multiple functional disciplines such as field service, logistics, sustainment, maintenance, supply chain, or operations support.
- Experience working directly with customers to identify requirements, develop solutions, and execute customer-funded work efforts.
- Experience supporting program execution activities including cost estimating, funding forecasts, technical directives, statements of work, proposals, or similar business processes.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable solutions.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
- Experience in the aerospace and defense industry or a similar sector.
- Knowledge of international regulations and compliance standards related to field operations and international deployments.
- Previous experience and knowledge of the implementing process improvements to enhance end-user satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Excellentself-starter and ability to align priorities.
- Knowledge of Proposal Process.
- Experience assisting employees in a deployedenvironmentacross multiple locations.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
