FIELD ENGINEER : 100% Nationwide Travel IMPORTANT: Travel & Relocation Requirement • 100% nationwide travel is required • You will relocate to project sites for 8-12 months at a time • This is a fully on-site, field-based role • Candidates must be comfortable with a project-to-project travel lifestyle SUMMARY This is an evergreen opportunity supporting upcoming solar and BESS EPC projects across the U.S. Field Engineers are placed on project sites for the duration of the build (typically 8-12 months) and then transition to the next project. This is onsite, working on the project site, working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm local time or other working hours the site may establish. Overtime and weekend working hours will be required as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES • Support Site Managers and Superintendents in daily construction activities • Assist with project coordination, logistics, and material tracking • Review drawings and help ensure work aligns with project plans • Track production, progress, and key project metrics • Support safety and quality efforts on site • Coordinate with subcontractors and internal team REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma/GED required. • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. • 0-3+ years of construction experience (solar or utility-scale preferred) • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Familiarity with construction/project management tools (e.g., Procore or similar) • Ability and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution. • Proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project details. • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals • Excellent communication and organizational skills BENEFITS • Competitive per diem rate • Company vehicle provided • Annual bonus opportunity • Rotational program • Employer- paid medical insurance premiums (HDHP) • Employer - paid vision and dental coverage • Employer- paid life, disability, community service leave and more • 401(k) with company match • Paid time off, holidays and additional paid leave • Education reimbursement program • Cell phone reimbursement EXAMPLES OF MOBILITY BARRIERS ACCESS TO JOB SITE • Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc. • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces (towers, vessels, excavations, etc.) • Able to walk or move continuously while carrying 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials. It is recommended to get assistance to lift items over 50 lbs. • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time CLIMATIC/ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS AT JOB SITE • Predominately outdoor climate • May be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather • Excessive humidity, rain, etc. • Various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc. • Potential exposure to chemical substances • Work performed around hazardous equipment.
