Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
  • Experience with modern artificial intelligence (AI) paradigms, generative AI, and data technologies, including experience reviewing technical solutions.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with software lifecycles, building tools, and architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed systems, including data platform, AI/ML and infrastructure.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders, including tailoring and delivering compelling messages by audience, asking strategic questions, and leading conversations that drive business opportunity.
  • Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.

  • Step into high-stakes executive meetings that require a deft touch and deep technical understanding. Take on speaking engagements that have the potential to be market movers.
  • Build trust and collaborate with other Product Areas like DeepMind (GDM), Geo, Research, and Jigsaw to co-design solutions alongside our customers. Help build out massive initiatives like Gemini for Science, Gemini for Policy Making, and Threat Management for Governments.
  • Act as mentor across GPS Customer Engineering. Elevate the entire team through podcasts, internal training, and real-time position papers that decode market changes.
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required (can vary, on average ~50%).
