Full Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Customer Deployment & Field Support
Travel to customer sites to support installation, commissioning, and optimization of Energous Wireless Power Network (WPN) systems.
Perform on-site troubleshooting of transmitters, receivers, gateways, tags, and associated networking infrastructure.
Diagnose RF coverage, communication, power delivery, and system performance issues.
Verify system functionality through validation testing and acceptance procedures.
Provide post-installation technical support and customer training.
Generate installation reports, corrective action plans, and technical recommendations.
Network Layout & System Planning
Design Wireless Power Network layouts based on customer facilities and operational requirements.
Develop bridge placement recommendations to maximize wireless power coverage and communication reliability.
Produce deployment packages including:
WPN layouts
Bridge placement maps
Coverage recommendations
Infrastructure requirements
Installation documentation
Optimize network performance while considering environmental constraints such as metal structures, ceiling height, interference, and operational workflows.
Project Application Engineering
Guide customers on best practices for deploying Energous products across various applications.
Recommend optimal product configurations based on customer use cases.
Support proof-of-concept installations and pilot deployments.
Validate customer applications and recommend improvements before production deployment.
Provide feedback to Engineering regarding field performance and product enhancements.
